Abstrakt
When Alfred North Whitehead wrote that all philosophy is a footnote to Greek philosophy, he did not go far enough. Our debt to the Greeks goes beyond philosophy. Our science, our social order, and much else we live by today can also trace their origins to Greek antiquity.
