The spatiality of the body itself and motility
pp. 39-47
Abstrakt
In the previous chapters we saw how the problems encountered by mechanistic physiology and the observations made by classical psychology prepared the way for a phenomenological description of the body. Merleau-Ponty now pursues that description with an investigation of spatiality, since "the primary condition of all living perception" is spatial existence.
