Time as a subjective category
pp. 29-42
Abstrakt
The exploration of the nature of time continues as the author examines the development of the concept of time as a subjective category, a product of human consciousness. The presentation starts in the fifth century, when St. Augustine (1966) questioned whether time was merely a construct of the mind. Reflections of German idealists, such as Immanuel Kant, and, later, Marxists are also considered as the author brings the evolution of time as a subjective category into the modern era.
