Molecular versus biological evolution and programming
pp. 137-145
Abstrakt
In 1971 M. Eigen published a long paper,1 launching a series of publications which has provided a sound chemical kinetic basis for a neo-Darwinian theory of prebiotic chemical evolution. At least two great contributions of Eigen's theory to the understanding of biological evolution must be mentioned at the outset.
