This article contains four parts: in the first and the third sections I investigate the relations between the life-world, natural attitude and the pre-givenness (Vorgegebenheit) of the world. The second and the fourth sections are respectively dedicated to the genealogy of the general thesis of the natural attitude and to the examination of the natural attitude and the phenomenological attitude as modes of the transcendental conditionality (Zustandlichkeit).
