The appropriate introduction to this paper would be a full discussion of the method of science. My version of this was presented in the Nature of Physical Reality, A summary of it may be found in the first chapter of Open Vistas. Its essence, crudely illustrated in Fig. 1 of this paper, will here be very briefly stated.
