The cunning nature of technology constitutes the starting point of the second section, in which the fundamental theoretical ideas and concepts are introduced in an understandable fashion. In particular these are: the deconstructive application of Spencer-Brown's calculus of indications known from system theory; a paradoxically understood concept of the world, which is pertained to be experienceable as shared [geteilt] and as meaningful only through division [Teilung]; the guiding distinction between disclosed/undisclosed and finally the concept of the experiment which is distinguished from conventional and ambiguous uses by means of a historical retrospective.
