Is Isaiah an "offensive liberal"?

Benjamin Miller

pp. 103-119

Abstrakt

Isaiah's vision of a disarmed, peaceful world poses a rough challenge not only TO practitioners but also to international relations theory and to competing approaches to world order. Many international relations thinkers would agree that this vision is desirable in principle (with some qualifications below). The questions are, however, is it feasible? And if the answer is positive, then what is the best strategy to accomplish or at least advance this vision of world peace and disarmament?
