The text tackles some theoretical milestones that help explain the contemporary conceptions of «property» and «labor». To that aim, we draw from the notion of property as conceived by Republicanism (Bertomeu, Domènech) and we address some of the fundamental axioms of labor law, as well as its transformations (Baylos). We conclude with some refections on the status quo of contemporary law (Cutler) that help us infer some fundamental aspects of modern law (Menke).
